Liam's Blog

Life on my abandoned island is very nice. The island has one lonely cabin and sand ,ocean , and a bunch of coconut trees. Inside that cabin is a bed in the corner and the shower is outside covered by fences and a small roof. The daily routine I do is wake up and take a shower, brush my teeth, then I go to my closet. I get the most comfortable clothes I have and  go get a coconut from a tree.  Then I drink the coconut water. After I’m hydrated  I go and walk on the beach for about an hour, then read.

For this rad reading month I read inspirational hockey stories. Mike Johnson, This book is Non-fiction. Bobby baun is A hockey player. Bobby baun had to overcome really hard challenges. For example getting a broken leg in the Stanley Cup final, not knowing if the Toronto Maple Leafs will win the Stanley Cup.

I really enjoyed  the book by Mike Johnson. Mike Johnson did a phenomenal job, making the book adding each detail and challenge realistic that Bobby baun  had to go through and that he had to persevere through . Mike   Made it very suspenseful and not knowing what will happen next made me continue to read the story.

The this is a this book is non-fiction and it is about Bobby baun’s challenges that he had to overcome. For example coming back after breaking his leg to continue to play in the final.

my personal favorite character trait for bobby baun  is determination will power and bravery on page 106 “ he did it all for the love of the game.” On page 105 the inspiration of pushing your body to the limit and pursuing a goal. this exemplifies, Bobby baun’s Well power To push through all the pain and suffering to eventually win the Stanley Cup.

Today I went into the library and met my friend Rider. He was starting a dog puzzle so I joined to help . My friend Joe came and also helped. Soon I thought we were going to finish the dog puzzle. Then the librarian said we had only five minutes left and the race against time began. We were trying to get it done in time but we still had twenty percent of the puzzle left to do. Then a group of other kids came in to help and with only one minute left we  finished! We all sighed in relief  and then we took a picture together.

Somebody I look up to as my hero is my dad. There are so many different reason I pick my dad. Reason one he wants me to  well in school. Reason two he teaches me how to do dry wall, how to use a drill. Reason three he tough me how to use different tools.

My word of intention for 2025 is focused. There are a few reasons I am going to focused on this year. The first thing is not getting off topic in class and focus on what I have been asked to work on. The second things is at home when do my homework I do do it just yet I sit around so i will go straight to homework. The final things is focus on a task’s around the house.

I have been told I am to be principal of my school for the day. The first thing I would do as the principal is have a longer snack time because if you go to the cafeteria, the line is long by the time you get your snack, snack time is over. The second thing I would do as the principal is make a new rule for the kids. This rule would be that you have to cleanup after yourself. The third thing I would do as the principal is have more sports to do like football and soccer. The fourth thing I would do as the principal is to do away with the cell phone pockets, we don’t use them. The lasting thing is giving teacher’s more school supplies, this would benefit students especially those students that can’t afford the supplies they need.

This Rad Reading month I read Make your own bed by Admiral william H. Mcraven. This book is nonfiction.Wlliam H. Mcraven is a Navy seal. william H. Mcraven had to overcome really hard challenges off the battlefield and on like pushing himself to the next level and also realizing he might not ever come back to his home.

I really enjoyed this book by William Mcraven. William did a phenomenal job, making the book adding each detail and challenge that William had to go through and he persevere through it. William added cool little quotes At the end of each story in the book that he told. That made me want to continue reading.

The this is a true story about Willam’s life and the challenges he overcame. For example if he did not fold his blanket into a perfect rectangle at the foot of the bed and it also had to be intersected in Ninety angle. Then he will be punished a lot. One of the punshment is a have to roll in a sugar cookie referred to rolling around and wet sand until he was completely covered in sand. Another challenge he had to overcome is the circus which is an additional two hours of calisthenics, and nonstop hrassment.

My personal favorite character traits are willam’s determination, willpower, and bravery to fight for the country.  On page 103 mcraven said “life is full of diffcult times. but someone out there always has had it worse than you. This show his willpower because even though there’s a high risk of him dying, he still thinks positive. My favorite quote was on page 103 “if you fill your days with pitty and sorrowful for the way you have been treated, bemoaning your lot in life, blaming your circumstances on someone or something else in your life will be long and hard”.

I am thankful for many things this year, but here are my top three things. One, I am thankful for my parents because they all ways push me to be the best in school, out of school and at home. They always teach me new life lessons, like my dad teaches me how to built things with wood. I have learned to build cabinets and many other things. He also likes teaching me how to make Croatian foods. Two, I am thankful for my dog. My dog makes me happy even if I had a bad day at school. His happiness is presented to me as I am walking in the door. His waggly tail brings me joy. Three, I am thankful for my friends, they are always supporting me in hard times. They are the only ones get me.
